A little loud however the compact nature of the nutribullet suits my small kitchen perfectly.  I love the fact that there is no waste of ingredients you can use the stalks, skin and all the parts of the fruit and vegetables which you would normally throw away can be used in The Nutribullet 600  by using all of the ingredients ensures a very nutritious smoothie everytime!  The cup and the blades are removed easily for washing, the cup can be washed in the dishwasher but the blades need to be hand washed in soapy water.

The Nutribullet 600 is very easy to use as there are no speed funtions, dials or buttons.  You fill the cup with your chosen ingredients, screw on one of the blades and push the unit into the base.  Screwing the cup into place starts the motor running, then all you need to do is unscew the cup when you have as smooth a blend as required. Twisting the cup into place starts the motor, and you untwist when everything is smoothly blended. Once you master the screw mechanism it should be plain sailing to operate.

The blender is one of the most compact single serving blender/juicer on the market. It doesn’t take up much space on your work surfaces. You only need to store the two cups, and lids and the other blade you are not using. It has a 680ml blending receptacle which doubles as a cup so you can take your creations with you, or store in the fridge.    Two blades are supplied with the machine, you will tend to use the four bladed extractor blade the most, however, the two bladed Milling blade is good for turning oats, nuts and seeds into powders.

For the novice blender a handy recipe user guide is enclosed when you purchase the Nutribullet 600. When making your creations the recommended mix of ingredients is around half greens and half whole fruit, topped with water to create the right consistency, you may also want to add some nuts and seeds to add even more nutritional value. It’s important to remember that the mix of fruit and vegatables produce different amounts of liquid.

The machine is not designed to be used with hot liquids.  If you require a hot mix place the mixture in a microwaveable bowl to heat in the microwave.  Ice can be added to a recipe however please do not use Ice on its own in the blender.

The Nutribullet 600 is about changing your lifestyle in a positive way and not using it as an occasional liquid lunch!

The Nutribullet can be a little noisy to operate however it works well as a single serving blender this also ensures that there is much less waste. It is priced at around £54.99 which means it is affordable for most households. The inability to make hot meals can be a dissadvantage in winter however it is really easy to heat up afterwards in the microwave.

The Nutribullet is marketed as a lifestyle changer, however this only works if you are serious about a change in your eating habits. I am of the opinion if you find it difficult eating your recommended daily portions of fruit and vegetables your body will thankyou for a daily nutritional smoothie.

  1. I really like this as looking for a healthier lifestyle and this would be the key thing to have in the home and would be great for the family to make healthy smoothies.
